ATTUNEMENTS AND HEALINGS GIVEN BY ME ..

HELLO,
IM NEW TO THIS GROUP BUT ITS NOTHING NEW TO ME REALLY. JUST DIFFERENT FACES SAME PROBLEMS AND STORYS..
IVE BEEN A USUI REIKI MASTER FOR 3 YEARS AND IVE BEEN ATTUNED TO REIKI FOR 4 YEARS.. NOT LONG REALLY BUT I HAVE MUCH EXPERIENCE WITH MANY DIFFERENT ENERGY AND HEALING SYSTEMS THAT ALL REALLY ARE THE SAME IN MANY WAYS..
SO PLEASE IF ANYONE NEEDS ATTUNEMENT, I LOVE TO GIVE THEM.. I JUST ASK PLEASE I REALLY WISH THAT YOU
USE THESE ENERGY'S WITH RESPECT, WITH LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING SO NO ONE GETS HURT.. WHEN I MEAN HURT, I MEAN PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 21 DAYS BETWEEN REIKI 1-2- AND ATTUNEMENT FOR DETOX BUT MOST OF YOU KNOW THIS..WATER LOTS AND LOTS OF PURE WATER, REST AND LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY
FOR MASTER LEVEL 3 PLEASE SHOW ME WHY YOU ARE ASKING FOR MASTER ATTUNEMENT.
MASTER ATTUNEMENT COMES WITH RESPONSIBLITY AND IF YOU ARE NO GOING TO EAT, SLEEP, AND BECOME REIKI THEN DONT BOTHER FOR IT WILL JUST GIVE YOU SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT REALLY NEEDING..
MASTER IS ONLY REALLY FOR DEDICATED SOULS WHO HAVE HEARTS OF GOLD AND WISH TO SERVE THE ENERGY AND ITS PATH..

    Hello,
    I am Thorne in Texas....I was born to walk the path I am on.....at 8 I held up a book by Mas Oyama, This Is Karate.....in a Mont. Wards store here in Fort Worth,,,,I asked in my heart, "This is something I want in my life."..felt an energy and walked off..then teachers began to arrive, always at the perfect time....Ed Johnson, one of the founders of Isshinryu karate (google) "popped" up 3/4 mile from my home '68........"bumped" into Stuart Perrin (google) Rudra meditation. in '73..then "ran" into Grandmaster Dr. Dae Shik Kim...one of the founders of Tae Kwon do and Judo in the US....I became his senior student in the US in '76-'77..trained 5-6 hours a day with Dr. Kim after I had been at it 10 years...from Dr. Kim I learned TKD, Aikijujitsu, and Kyokushinkai...in their entirety....Kyo kushinkai is the style created by Mas. Oyama...whose book I held when I was 8. Dr. Kim was Mas Oyama's senior and 3 time director of Mas Oyama's world championships....from Dr. Kim I got nomind martial art...doing katas or poomses 4-5 hours a day...7 days straight....also clear vision that all martial arts and indeed all arts and healing arts were the same thing....took you to the same place...just flavors...one is not "better" than another...just different "flavor"
    '93 had a strange calling to go up to Stuart Perrin's old ashram in Denton (hadn't been up there in 8 months or so , then) and went up there and "bumped" into Don Augustine Rivas...an ayahuasca shaman from the Iquitos area of Peru...did the Ayahuasca ceremony 5 times with Don Augustine....he married me and a woman in '94..gave us a teaching...shook his rattle, blew mapacho smoke around us...and then cut our wrists and joined our blood..but alas it didn't last .. on 09/11/01 at 08:10 am got hit with a divorce 5 minutes after the 2nd airplane hit the tower live on CNN....then 2 weeks later "bumped" into a Tibetan lama in denton who went out of his was to talk to me to tell me what was going on in my life and why.....
    2001 after divorce hit did 150 hours of Hatha yoga so negativity wouldn't get stuck in physical/spiritual.
    In 2004 began practice of Falun dafa and did Quodoushka I ....
    Have begun new career as a Dietetic Technician.. at local Jr. college...but last 6 months or so have been in a low energy space.....lost job and things don't seem to flow....
    I downloaded a complete Reiki Sechim manual from a site located in England a few years ago....I understand all the symbols...etc.
    I was told over email that I had been attuned to Master level remotely....but not sure....
    Would it be good for me to be attuned by you....meaning someone I can communicate with....

      The person who posted that offer of attunements has unsubscribed. You will get a lot of opinions from this group starting with mine. I think it is always useful to have face to face training in something that you don't have experience wtih. I don't know a lot about the training you listed but I do think it is different than reiki. The proof of whether you really are attuned or not will have to be in feedback from people you send or give reiki too.

      I have a question that I think is important. Did the person who sent you the attunements explain to you that reiki is not a healing modality used to be a healer, but rather a conduit to the universal energy, allowing the person receiving it to heal?

      P.S. is that ashram in Denton now (or at least in 2004) the place where the sweat lodges are held? I forgot the name of the man who hosts them.

        Hi,
        Ashram...yes, on Locust street by court house.....its been there since '72 or so....I "bumped " into them in '73. Started by Stuart Perrin (google)..he's the one I first met....since '79 or so run by Silver, Ra, or Bob Baker...(he's changed his name 3 times...not alias', I don't think just moods...) He's with Deer Tribe out of Phoenix, have heard a lot on Negs about Harley Swiftdeer but always...I know someone who knew someone who worked with my cousin who said,"XXXX" so oh, well...

        My understanding is that Reiki is a "tap" to the universal energy...which is something I do and connect with through Falun dafa..2 1/2 years.....N.A. ceremony 20 years or so.....and Martial Arts that I have been into 41 years..Isshinryu;with Ed Johnson one of the founders of Iss. in the US... TKD the old style, along with Aikijujitsu, and Kyokushinkai.....with Korean grandmaster Dr. Dae Shik Kim (I was his senior student in the US in '76-'77, he was full prof. at UT Austin then....he's retired from there now ...and also 5 Ayahuasca ceremonies I have done with Don Augustine Rivas , a shaman from the iquitos area of Peru.....

        I have found common threads through all the trainings I have asked for in my life.....smashing duality mirror of ego self....connection with "Great spirit, Universal energy....who ever you want to call Him/Her......I won't go off into dissertation, but the yang or male aspect of "god" is the source of the imbalance and misery in the world today....3-5 thousand years ago....tred on the goddess, scarlet letter Eve, disrespect and deny existence of mother earth and women in general...male power only "right" one....etc..

        One thing I encounter off and on...met someone and talked a bit about Falun dafa persecutions in China....She had never heard about it...and I said the Comm. govt. can't stand that they are finding the "voice in their own heart" and listen there not to the Comm. for reality, etc. Lady said, " do you mean Jesus?"....I said the one god that is there....she didn't understand.....concept of one universal "god" , great spirit, accessable to all cultures...she was religious indoct. to one God with one concept as to identity....must be Jesus......Another aside.. in AA 12 step group..the 12 steps didn't work until Dr. Bob or Bill W. changed "God" to "God as I understand Him"..Ok, the "Him" thing but...."god"as a more universal ...concept to self,,,then the miracles started to happen....,,not old man on Throne in the sky, with possible swollen prostate issues....(remember the Old Test..) angry a lot....

        So, how can yo help me understand Reiki better?

        Hi JahaRa,

        And, have you ever noticed how strung out western folks get about naming.....Many acedemics name and classify things and then somehow forget to look at the thing they have named....I met someone once that was an acedemic herp. expert...he could tell you all the taxonomy about phylums and subspecies but he didn't know anything about how the snakes and lizards etc. behaved when they were alive and in the wild....

        People get strung out on noming god, great spirit, etc. as a process of exclusion. Oh, you mean Jesus....just a name...the great spirit is what it/(he/she) is whether I call her/him/it Ralph, or Jehovah, or Sacred Frog.......so I'm just talking about connecting with the god who is there......etc. whether you access contact through Reiki or Ayahuasca or deep practice of a Martial Art, or Falun dafa or etc.

          I agree with this generally but let us not forget that we are mind as much as heart as much as body as much as spirit because we are all parts of being, not just one. There is balance in logic, reason, distinction, understanding through separation... That is part of life. If you did not learn that your arm connects the hand which grabs the glass to hold it to mouth, having names or even visual/memory stimulated processes from learning then you wouldn't be here very long, if at all.

          The most basic of all life has a memory, enough to separate itself from the unlimited in order to form identity (structure, form, reason). Names are another form of distinction to understanding. It isn't "wrong" any more than any other way is right. It can be, like anything, when one becomes obsessed with it to the point where the separations create a disconnect from you society, your life, your family and loved ones and from the basic things that supply all parts of you life with vital energy.

          Speaking of 'naming' aren't you 'naming' "Western Folks"?

          There more philosophies than known by any one person or group. There are many paths. Like color, the God Force flows through each refracting into different rays. So if we want to be simplistic we can and say blithely "It's all the same energy" but really, study shows, life shows that color (energy) looks different, acts different and causes different sensations and actions. From basic nature such as animals using color to show toxicity and warning to the colorful plumes of birds attracting potential mates.

          A reduction of all things into "it's just all god" really is spitting at the creative force which has manifested in all things, in many ways with a magnificent array of endless approaches and experiences; of which we as a planet have only found a fraction of a fraction of a fraction.

          Don't be blinded by the brilliance of the one because out of the one came two and out of two came all things... you and I and all of us are part of all that is.

            Good point, Scott. We are in human bodies on planet earth experiencing duality. Sometimes there is a need to integrate which gets confused, or there is an escapist attitude that wants 'all one' to absorb them and their humanness. But, we have to go through that, each of us does somehow and when we get on the other side of it, we can see it the way you describe. Yes integration is allowing all our aspects to be without judgement. Not many of us are there yet. Each of us came in with a different primary filter (mine is my mind, so my body and emotions have been ignored or abused sometimes). That is part of the experience. I didn't get that from Thorne's post, just that some people need a name for God and some don't.

              I suppose it may have sounded like I was playing up the advocacy for the horned one in that, but I really wasn't. I go by the Adage "As above so below. As within so without," and from an Occult background understanding the uses of knowledge and consciousness as tools, colors in a pallet, rather than black or white is really what I desired to get out there.

          I agree, the name is not relevant. I have gone through a lot of names for God myself and a lot of definitions. Just like anything else you can find different definitions of anything. Some people do not consider reiki from God but rather a universal energy that anyone can tap into. I don't separate the energy from the idea of God (all that is/Source/universe), my definition of god does not include a human personality (no anthropormorphizing or pesonalization). The energy is source energy (some people use that word like others use God). I like the word source because there has to be a beginning somewhere or a source for the energy (from my small human perspective). Here is a web page that I think has it all wrong and is correct in a way.

          Reiki fits this description for some people, others would consider it bastardization of Reiki. It all depends on if you are using it to replace your religion or not. In a nut shell the words Rei Ki in japanese means Universal Life Force. So reiki as a practice is a way of becoming a conduit for that energy. The conduit (practitioner) uses their hands to transfer the energy to another person, animal, plant, what ever. You can even transfer the energy to situations, relationships etc. If the conduit is transfering reiki to a person, the receiver is the healer, not the conduit. Like plugging in your lamp to the wall outlet. The wire the electricity travels through is not providing the light, it is only a transport for the electricity which lights the bulb if the bulb has the proper elements to light.

          For example I have sent reiki to my relationship with my bank account (or what ever I think needs my attention to heal). You can send reiki energy long distance and outside of time. It has become quite a thing and each person who trains others puts their own twist somehow on it. The Japanese Reiki Masters do not do any of it the same way we do. It is a big deal to be able to get training from one of them. There are attunements and lineages etc. (which is the organizational part of it that was started by madam takata's grand daughter). There have even been what I call 'Reiki Wars' where certain people have sued others for stealing their ideas/teachings and leaders of different organizations calling each other names in public. So, this is only my perspective of the history of reiki.

          If you got attunements from someone you need to know what their version of the reiki history is and what they understand reiki to be. Or just read on the internet and see if you find what resonates with you.

              It sound like you have connected to many systems and teachers effectively. It is good to try new things but please don't get disappointed by Riiki-I think it is a way to tap into the universal healing energy to send it/send healings, but in itself does not raise the atunee's consciousness or understanding or put you on your path or move you further along on your path, or give you higher awareness, or any answers. The healings themselves cannot be controlled by you-you sen dnergy where you might-the energy goes where it is most needed and has to be accepted by the healee~~unpredicatble~~ but alteast you can give your time/effort/try to improve something. I think if you have a desire to connect in a new way to what you have already been connecting to through marital arts, then go ahead, it will help you to direct/send energy.
