Hi to all the Reiki Renegades who know and love AJ (Alisha) !


This is Mary Ann Wales writing on her behalf to update you all on her
condition.

The doctors have confirmed a cancerous mass on her lung that is the
size of her hand. They do believe it to be limited to that area. She has new
doctors that she is very happy with and they will be coordinating her treatments
- chemo & radiation. She doesn't know yet what the schedule or order will be,
but will let me know and I can keep everyone posted.

The tumor apparently isn't operable at this time, but I say that would be
something we can all Reiki for and envision for the near future. They have
her on some meds that are helping her eat more and helping keep her mood up
and positive. Consequently, she has only lost about another 5 pounds over
the last 5 weeks compared to the drastic rate at which she was losing it before.
She is down to about 135 pounds at this time, but is hoping to turn that around soon.

AJ sends her thanks and love out to everyone that has expressed their concern
and asks that we all understand that she doesn't want to empower thesituation
by talking about it repeatedly. If you are moved to talk with her directly she asks
that you please NOT call between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. as thatis the time she has
set aside for resting and meditating. She asks also that the conversations be
kept light, cheerful and positive.

I have asked her if she would like us to arrange for a Reiki potluck or other group
healing for her, and she said maybe later when she knows more what her treatment
schedule is going to be.

I ask everyone to put her in all their group Prayer & Reiki Baskets and to remember
her in our private meditations and healing work.

As you know my grandmother has had her bouts with the hospital visits in
the last few years and she is back again. What she intended to be a
trick to get to the hospital to see my dad (see part two of this post)
ended up being a trip to the hospital for herself.

Please send healing light to Martha Smith, my grandmother, in Fairfield
California.

Please also include my father, David Smith (also one of our members) in
your healing work. He had retained a large amount of water, some of
which localized around his heart and had congestive heart failure AND
lung failure. In addition to his Diabetes 2 conditions this has put him
out of work and onto disability; he will have to be on oxygen -as the
doctor says- for the rest of his life.

Talking to him on the phone he has told me that he is taking the
aggressive healing initiative to start physically exercising, watching
his diet... but he does need our healing help.

Please send healing light to David Smith, my father, in Fairfield
California.

Thank you.
